Alliances & Joint Ventures Goldstone, Echelon tie up
Hyderabad, Aug. 21 Goldstone Technologies has entered into an agreement with the US-based Echelon Studios to boost its video library content for its video-on-demand subscribers. The agreement with Echelon is for five years on a revenue-sharing basis. It will strengthen Goldstone’s existing library of movies and other video content, according to a release. Hyderabad-based Goldstone will offer the movie-on-demand services along with the IPTV service initially in India and Asia-Pacific co untries such as Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Thailand. The Los-Angeles based Echelon Studios acquires and distributes filmed entertainment worldwide. The Chairman of Goldstone, Mr Nandan Kundetkar, said after Hindi and English film titles, the company is aiming at other languages like Chinese to improve its worldwide reach and expand its video-on-demand services. — Our Bureau
