Bangalore , April 15

MAXIMIZE India, a leading advertising and media-network company, on Thursday announced its re-launch as Maxus and said it will help its parent GroupM consolidate its media assets, including that of Maximize. Maxus network is being launched in 14 countries across Asia Pacific and will be rolled out in 33 global markets during this year.

In India, since Maximize has been operating as an independent brand under the GroupM umbrella, it will now be re-branded as Maxus, said a company release.

The agency handles media on a standalone basis for companies like VIP Luggage, Pidilite, Standards Chartered Bank, Seagram, Hutch and Honda. It recently won new accounts such as Britannia and Titan.

The launch of Maxus was an important stepas this new network first takes shape in Asia Pacific where Maximize India has good business. It will provide the agency an opportunity to work on globally aligned businesses.

Mr C.V.L. Srinivas, Managing Director of Maxus India, said internationally, Maxus will operate as a stand-alone brand alongside Group's existing media brands, Mediagate:cia and Mindshare. However, in India Maximize has been re-branded as Maxus and will continue to operate on a stand-alone basis alongside Mindshare and Fulcrum.
