Rotary – Binani CSR Excellence Award 2013 has been conferred on various organisations at a function here.
Binani Zinc Ltd and Rotary club of Cochin Metropolis have been encouraging other institutions with the awards to take up CSR activities since 2010.
The award-winning corporates this year are BPCL-KR in public sector, Muthoot Finance and Synthite Group in private sector. Others in the private sector category are Terumo Penpol, Thiruvananthapruam and Sud Chemie, Binanipuram.
Roshan K. Menon, vice-president, Binani Zinc Ltd, along with other dignitaries distributed the awards.
Shyam Sreenivasan, managing director and CEO, Federal Bank, was the chief guest.
