Mumbai , Sept. 22

VIDESH Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) has slashed installation charges for its Tata Indicom Broadband service.

The price reduction varies from city to city. In Mumbai, where the DSL router was sold for Rs 3,000 and DSL/Ethernet for Rs 2,000, the DSL Router Ethernet now costs Rs 1,500.

For its Mumbai customers the company is offering Rs 500 off for higher validity (three months and above) pre-paid users.

All Tata Indicom Broadband post-paid connections come with a router as a CPE and static Internet Protocol worth Rs 2,000 for free, said a news release from VSNL.
