Education States - Tamil Nadu VETA's home-study English pack Our Bureau
The packs are available in nine regional languages. VETA plans to expand to 300 centres by 2009. The company has also received certification in Singapore, and is looking at setting up centres in Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. International centres would be managed on the master franchisee model, said the company. Mr Rajagopal said that the spoken English training market in India is Rs 1,500 crore, and that VETA has a share of Rs 60 crore in that. The company plans to grow to about Rs 150 crore in the coming year.
