Correction

With reference to the interview with Mr. Gopinath Pillai, Chairman of The Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), Singapore, published in these columns on July 18 ("India is on a roll and people are betting on it"), it was mentioned that the ISAS is a private institute. It is actually an autonomous research institute within the National University of Singapore, which has as its shareholders the Singapore Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The error is regretted.
