Internet TV

My system configuration is P4 , 3GHZ /Ram 512 MB/ 80GB hard disk. I have loaded Windows XP home edition with updated anti-virus software. I have gone in for unlimited Internet connection through the night. Is it possible to watch any satellite channels through Internet for free without a cable TV connection or DTH connection?

Srinivas K

Yes, you can watch hundreds of live TV broadcasts on your PC.

This uses some online streaming, P2P Technology. So all you need is only broadband Internet connection.

The following are some free programs that enable you to watch high quality live television programmes around the world.

TVU networks offer a free global live TV service that you can watch on your Windows PC over a broadband Internet connection. This service is dedicated to bringing you TV that you can't get from cable or satellite, such as news and sports from around the world. You can download this from the following URL: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Internet-Radio-TV-Player/TVUPlayer.shtml

TV 2.0 (size 1.05 MB)

Music, news, educational, sports & shopping channels are sorted in a very easy to find way, together with TV in English, Spanish, German & Arabic sections.

You can also browse world TV by region or by country name. No configuration or settings are needed.

You can download this from http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Internet-Radio-TV-Player/TV.shtml.

You do not need to install this software, just double click tv.exe to start the application.
