Concur, a provider of integrated travel and expense management services, has announced the findings of a special research conducted by Nielsen on corporate travel expense management practices in India.
A release from the company said that the research, which covered over 500 companies, found that over 80 per cent of the employees seek approval prior to travel, which takes up to six days on an average and three out of four requests require multiple approvals.
“Delaying an airline ticket purchase by just six days due to approvals will result in significantly higher airfare purchases at a minimum of 10 per cent,” said Mr Christopher Juneau, Senior Director - Marketing, Concur Technologies.
