Our Bureau

Bangalore, Nov. 28 Ness Technologies, an IT services and solutions company, plans to ramp up its business tracking strong potential and opportunities in the growing financial services and life sciences sector.

The company was not deterred by IT spend shrinkage as its main focus was on research and development by product companies to provide technology backed solutions to its customers.

“We are not competing with IT budgets,” said Mr Sachi Gerlitz, CEO, Ness Technologies.

He said the company would be focusing on the opportunities from IT R&D. It will also strengthen its independent software vendors to support its strong growth prospects, he told reporters here on Wednesday.

Ness Technologies expects its revenues to grow 15 per cent during the calendar year 2007 to $550 million from $474 million.
